South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham on Tuesday questioned Supreme Court nominee Neil Gorsuch about what it would take to impeach President Trump.

During the Senate Judiciary Committee's hearing, Graham probed Gorsuch about the impeachment process, saying President Trump did a good job picking Gorsuch, but then added, “If you start waterboarding people, you may get impeached. Is that a fair summary?"

Gorsuch answered by saying, "Senator, the impeachment power belongs to this body." He would not speculate further on the matter, only adding “"No man is above the law."

Republican Graham was the first senator—on either side of the aisle—to discuss potentially impeaching Trump.
