Speaking at the Pennsylvania Conference for Women on Tuesday, former first lady Michelle Obama said that many people of color “don’t trust politics,” especially the GOP because they are “all men, and all white.”

Breitbart reports while Obama spoke about diversity, she said when she attended the State of the Union address she noticed that “there’s a difference in color, in the tone, because on one side (it’s) all men, all white, on the other side some woman, some people of color.”

She added that when she looked at that she thought, “No wonder we struggle, no wonder people don’t trust politics. We’re not even noticing what these rooms look like.”
