A man who was arrested for molesting a 12-year-old girl was only in the U.S. after two Democrats fought for him to be allowed in.
Tanveer Hussain was reportedly originally denied a visa to come to the U.S. for a snowshoe race because of President Trump's initial migration pause.
Front Page Magazine reports Democratic Senators Kirsten Gillibrand and Chuck Schumer asked embassy officials to allow Hussain to resubmit his visa application — which was then approved.
Following that, the parents of a 12-year old girl filed a police complaint that Hussain had molested their daughter.
Hussain reportedly first blamed the girl for the encounter and then claimed that he didn’t know she was a minor because he doesn’t speak English.
Gillibrand and Schumer have not commented.
