New books by former President Obama and his wife Michelle will be published by Penguin Random House.
Reports say the publishing company was the winner of an auction for the rights and paid over 60-million dollars.
The publisher released a statement saying it hopes to help the Obamas "make each of their books global publishing events of unprecedented scope and significance."
The Obamas have pledged to donate portions of their book profits to charity, but that includes their own Obama Foundation.
In comparison, Former President George W. Bush made about $10 million on his memoir, according to the Financial Times, while former President Bill Clinton received $15 million for his memoirs.
