California celebrated the New Year but putting into effect a couple of new laws.
The state became the sixth in the country to allow the legal use of recreational marijuana.
They also became the first state in the country to be a “Sanctuary State” – providing refuge to illegal aliens. But the new law didn’t sit well with many.
The Gateway Pundit reports anonymous street artists moved out to highways to ring in the new year and the new Sanctuary State status by posting messages to the “Welcome to California” highway signs.
Signs were put up north of Lake Havasu, Arizona, Primm, Nevada and on Highway 95 in California and read, “OFFICIAL SANCTUARY STATE, Felons, Illegals and MS13 Welcome! Democrats Need The Votes!”
