A Detroit-area congressman was loudly booed by town hall attendees after he said he supported funding for the military.

The Daily Caller reports during a town hall event on Saturday, Representative Dave Trott said he supported more military funding. That was met with a chorus of boos.

Michigan Radio reported much of Trott's crowd was hostile toward him, and that the reaction was the same when he said he supported the GOP’s ObamaCare replacement bill.

Reps from the Republican Party accused Democrats of sending supporters to events to heckle people like Trott.

National Review reports an increasing number of activists use the town-hall format as a trap to bash and embarrass politicians with whom they disagree.
