Donald Trump is ready to take an ax to government spending.

The Hill reports staffers for the Trump transition team have been meeting at the White House ahead of tomorrow’s inauguration to outline their plans for shrinking the federal bureaucracy.

The changes they propose are dramatic and include major reductions in funding and programs for the departments of Commerce and Energy, Transportation, Justice and State.

The Corporation for Public Broadcasting would be privatized, while the National Endowment for the Arts and National Endowment for the Humanities would be eliminated entirely.

Overall, Trump’s team looks to reduce federal spending by $10.5 trillion over 10 years.
