Some more details are coming out regarding the growing scandal involving a staffer to former DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz.
Wasserman Schultz's top IT staffer Iman Awan was arrested Monday after trying to flee the country amid investigations into his involvement in banking fraud and criminal cybersecurity.
The Daily Caller reports Awan wired over $280,000 to Pakistan after the FBI recently recovered multiple smashed hard drives from his home.
He and four of his relatives have received $4 million by working for Democratic members of Congress since 2009.
Awan was only fired on Tuesday after his arrest.
Wasserman Schultz has so far not been cooperative in allowing authorities to see her computer that Awan had access to.
