Data Centers Are Transforming Small-Town USA

Plenty of Americans now treat data centers as an unwelcome blight. One small town just opened a $15 million aquatic center with slides and a lazy river—and a huge indoor sports complex is next. The money came from the same facilities many people want to stop. The contrast between the national mood and what actually showed up on the ground is hard to miss.
