Bill Nye appears to be specifically targeting the elderly this week as he continues to speak out against climate change deniers.

The Washington Examiner reports Nye, known for his 1990s show “Bill Nye the Science Guy,” argues that generationally, the majority of what he calls “climate change deniers” are older.

And, while he admits he himself is of the age to be “now one of them,” real change to perspectives on climate change won’t happen until “those people ‘age out,’ adding that what he means by that is they need to "die.”

Then, Nye argues, so-called climate science will start to advance.
