A state-based movement to uphold the goals of the Paris Agreement on climate change following President Trump’s choice to withdraw is gaining traction.

The so-called U.S. Climate Alliance, led by Democratic governors in three states, said Wednesday that it is on track to meet and possibly surpass the Paris Agreement’s targets of a 24% to 29% reduction in greenhouse gas emission rates by 2025.

Meanwhile, according the USA Politics Today, officials from the former Obama White House are alleging the Obama Administration fabricated scientific evidence proving “climate change.”

Steven Koonin, the former Undersecretary of the Department of Energy, reportedly said press releases about climate data were “misleading, sometimes just wrong” in order to justify Obama administration policies.
