Democrats Cannot Govern

Billions of dollars taken by fraud during covid in California.  A similar situation in Minnesota flowing from covid.  Both states run by Democrats.  I do not think these Democrats are corrupt, but they are inept.  Quoting Carl Sagan, billions and billions of dollars of inept.  Simply put, they cannot govern.

How we got here can be explained by this:

The Winooski School District disabled its website due to massive backlash after the district raised the Somali flag.

The district raised the Somali flag to show solidarity with the Somali community due to the intense criticism from the alleged fraud scheme in Minnesota.

Where most of us see fraud and abuse, they see only identity considerations.  Hence their ineptitude – they can no longer focus on the realities of the job and are solely focused on the secondary or tertiary considerations.

What’s truly frightening is the Democratic governor in Minnesota was the last Vice Presidential candidate and the Democratic governor of California is the leading Presidential candidate for the next election.  Both men proven to fail utterly at the simple task of making sure the bureaucracies they ostensibly run operate well.  So Democrats want to promote them!  This is unique in bureaucratic history.  They have quite clearly reached their Peter Principle level – their incompetence is on vivid and very expensive display.  Most bureaucracies try to get such people out of the picture.  But Democrats just want to give them more opportunity to fail.

But this also proves identity politics is not just wrong – it’s poisonous.  The host’s interview with Scott Johnson earlier this week makes plain that the fraudsters in Minnesota were not challenged in their fraudulent claims lest the bureaucracies be charged with racism.  And yet, that is racist in its own right.  If white people can be denied their fraudulent claims, but Somalis cannot – that is definitionally racist.

It is astonishing to me.  Democrats have always been the racist party if you think about it.  They were the secessionists before ethe Civil War and the segregationists after, at least until LBJ.  And now, in the modern era they are still racist- just in the opposite direction.  Moreover they have chased their obsession with race into ineptitude.

Were it not for Trump hatred, I would have to think the Democratic Party would lie in ruins.  They have permitted billions in fraud.  They have foisted up an incapable president – they substituted the most vapid candidate in history for that incapable candidate.  They are simply failing at governing in anything like a reasonable fashion.  But Trump hatred keeps them politically alive.
